*Attic Fan Spring Special*
Is it difficult to cool your home in the summer? Does the AC run continuously to cool your home? If so an attic fan can help!
Attic Fan Frequently Asked Questions
How Does An Attic Fan Work?
Attic fans exhaust the air from the attic creating the cooler outside air to be pulled in through the various vents and soffit vents.
How Hot Is the Air In My Attic?
During the summer months we have seen attic temperatures over 160 degrees.
Why Is it Difficult To Cool My Second Floor?
Most likely your flexible duct runs through the attic and the cooler air conditioned air is heating while flowing through the duct work. We have seen the surface of the duct work at temperatures over 130 degrees.
Can The Hot Air In My Attic Cause Any Other Problems?
Extreme conditions in the attic can cause mold and mildew and effect the structure and roof. High humidity can also effect equipment located in the attic space.
How Does The Fan Operate?
The fan is connected to an existing 15 amp circuit, wired to a new switch and thermostat. The fan is typically set to come on when temperatures reach 110 degrees in the attic. The thermostat setting is determined by the height of the attic and customer preference.
How Is The Attic Fan Mounted To My Roof?
After making a precision cut and preparing the area with 20 year sealant we fasten the fan using special roofing screws and apply final caulking.
What Are Your Guarantees?
Our workmanship carries an unmatched Lifetime Guarantee! The fan's blades, thermostat, housing, and motor are covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty.
What Is The Cost For A Fan Installation?
Our attic fan special is based on a typical shingle style roof and for most homes the price is $525 (you save $50). Small single storey homes can be less while larger homes with high attic spaces can be more. Exact price quotes given on site or by phone.
When Can You Complete The Work?
We carry with us all the parts and safety gear needed to complete the installation. All fan installations are scheduled to begin between the hours of 7 am and 8:30 am.
